This is a socially acceptable face covering.

We created this mask as a tongue in cheek message to highlight the double standards that we see Muslim women subjected to, especially those who choose to wear the niqab. We have been vilified, politicised and ostracised for covering ourselves and our faces, yet the face mask currently worn to protect us from the virus seems perfectly acceptable.

As Muslim women, we are tired of the labels, assumptions and critiques placed on us. We hope that this mask generates healthy discussion where the voice and opinions of Muslims are centred and amplified.

We created both a physical mask to wear (click here to buy) and a mask Instagram filter (click here to use it) in light of the virtual world we increasingly operate in due to covid-19. 

Our reusable masks are ethically made in Australia and 15% of the profits will go to relief efforts in Yemen through Islamic Relief. We deliver worldwide!
